Personality report

Your personality report is a vital part of your MyType membership. During the registration process we'll ask you about your outlook on the world, the way you like to do things, and your life experiences.

This will help us define your personality type and help us search for other personality types you're more likely to be compatible with.

The registration process takes about 30 minutes to complete. You'll then receive a report that describes your own personality, absolutely free. This report is 100% confidential and for your eyes only.

Once you are logged in, go to your profile by clicking on my profile in the navigation panel at the top of the page.

Then click on the my personality tab located underneath your username. This will display your personality type based on the information you provided when you signed up to MyType.

Remember your report is 100% confidential and for your eyes only. Your matches will not be able to view the my personality tab when viewing your profile.

We all come in different shapes and sizes. And there are things that might be important to you, that others might not care about at all.

So your personality report is a vital part of your MyType experience. It will help us search for matches you're more likely to be compatible with.

In consultation with some of Australia's top practising psychologists, including academics from leading Australian Universities, we look at how different personalities relate well together. When we find high compatibility scores among MyType members, we bring those people together.

The personality report can't be altered.

It is important to remember that there are no right or wrong responses in the personality questionnaire. It should be answered as spontaneously as possible and we ask that your try not to over-analyse your responses.

Your profile may become less accurate the more you think about the responses. It is for this reason that we do not allow you to change your personality questionnaire after you make your way through the sign up process.

In a future version of our site, we may offer the ability to send your personality report to a matched member, but this feature is not currently available.

A personality report is 100% confidential. You are not able to view the personality report of other members.

However, you are welcome to start up a conversation with any of your matches and ask about their personality characteristics.
